again the far-right ‘wiener korporationsring’ held their annual ball in the hofburg, again hundreds of protesters took to the streets to raise awareness over the issue.
since the demonstration itself had been prohibited, people spread all over central vienna, policeofficers chasing them - which itself caused widespread traffic chaos.
at some locations like the musemsquartier around 70 policemen were blocking the streets with no protesters in sight.
all in all police deployed more than a thousand officers around vienna - for 300 protesters
while the far-right brothers had their fun in austria’s most symbolic building.
same procedure as every year.

austrian populist politician heinz-christian strache came to eisenstadt to fish for voters with beer and chicken.
while too many people listened to his and others’ hate speeches, around 600 others gathered not far away to show that there is another way,
that we can all live together in peace and still have fun.
